Mini induction furnace heating method:

There are two types of indirect heating methods.

1. The combustion product or the energized resistance element does not directly heat the charge, but first heats the heat transfer medium such as the radiant tube, and then the heat is transferred to the charge by radiation and convection;

2. The coil is connected to the alternating current to generate an alternating magnetic field, and the induction current is used to heat the charge in the magnetic field, and the heating element such as the induction coil and the charge are separated by the lining material. The advantage of the indirect heating method is that the combustion products or the electric heating elements are separated from the charge, and no harmful influence is generated between them, which is advantageous for maintaining and improving the quality of the charge and reducing the burning of the metal. The induction heating method also has a stirring effect on the metal melt, which can accelerate the metal melting process, shorten the melting time, and reduce the metal burning loss. The disadvantage is that the heat cannot be directly transferred to the charge, and the heat efficiency is low compared with the direct heating method, and the furnace structure is complicated.

During the work, the external conditions of the sensor and the cymbal must be supervised to prevent people from touching the sensor and cable after power transmission, affecting the intermediate frequency electric furnace. Normal operation or a safety accident.

Second, the precautions after the furnace

After the mini induction furnace is opened, during the charging, the inside of the furnace should be inspected to avoid mixing with flammable and explosive materials. In order to prevent the occurrence of the capping phenomenon, it is strictly forbidden to directly add the cold material and the wet material to the molten steel, and after the molten liquid is filled to the upper part, the bulk material should not be added; in order to avoid the accident, it is necessary to ensure the pouring place and There is no water in the pit in front of the furnace, and there is no obstacle. In the pouring, two people need to cooperate, and the remaining molten steel can only be dumped at the place where it is made, and it cannot be dumped anywhere.

Third, the precautions during maintenance

When maintaining the mini induction furnace, the internal frequency generator room should be kept clean, and flammable and explosive materials should not be stacked. Repair the furnace with excessive melt loss in time, and avoid the incorporation of iron filings and iron oxide in the furnace to ensure the compaction of the crucible.
