What is the structure of the induction coil of the intermediate frequency melting furnace?

Date:2019-08-27 Click:

The induction coil, also known as the inductor, is the heart of a high frequency melting furnace. Electromagnetic energy is converted into heat by an inductor, thereby melting the metal in the crucible. The working capacity of the high frequency melting furnace depends on the structure of the inductor and must be sufficiently rigid to withstand mechanical and thermal loads. Therefore, the reasonable design of the sensor and the quality of the manufacturing directly affect the efficiency and life of the melting furnace. The inductor is generally made of a single or multi-turn coil made of a hollow copper tube, and the cooling water is passed through the tube. In addition, in order to improve the efficiency, the melting furnace adopts a rectangular tube.
